Any patient who is exhibiting fever and respiratory symptoms should remain home regardless of testing until:
He/she has had no fever for at least 72 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications (Tylenol, Aspirin, etc) AND other symptoms have improved (for example, when cough or shortness of breath have improved)
We are using the below procedures in order to limit risk of transmission of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in our office:
- We are practicing social distancing of 6 feeet whenever possible
- Patients and staff are required to wear a face mask (cloth, surgical, HEPA, or N95)
- We are using our drive-thru as much as possible in order to decrease risk of transmission
- We are thouroughly cleaning and sanitizing the office as frequently as possible, including sanatizing exam rooms and equiptment between every patient
- When looking at glasses, any pair of glasses touched is put aside and sanitized before being returned to the display
